* To be successful, you will need:
- A good degree. Any degree subject will be considered but a consistent, high standard of education will be key. Ideally, you will have attained or be predicted to attain a 1st or 2.1 PLUS a minimum grade A in GCSE English. Other degree classifications will be considered, providing you fit all other requirements below
- A clear understanding of the concept of PR, how it fits with other marketing disciplines, and why you want a career in it
- Commercial awareness and hunger – an understanding of business, the business of PR and a keen interest in how a PR business becomes successful
- An absolute passion for communication and media in all its forms is key – including digital and social
- First class written English and the ability to write confidently and creatively for a variety of different sectors and audiences
- A strong flair for communicating confidently and positively with large groups with varying perspectives
- Proven ability to multi-task, managing your time efficiently and effectively
- A creative and inquisitive nature. You need to have your finger on the pulse, know what trends are occurring in the marketplace and always be looking for inspiration for great ideas!

First things first…
You need to ‘catch our eye’ by Monday 20th February 2012
A traditional CV and covering letter alone is no longer going to cut it. Instead, we want you to do something that will grab our attention and make you stand out from the crowd. We want you to show us why you should be part of Lexis’ next generation in a creative way that is relevant to the PR industry and its changing landscape
You need to email your application to grads@lexispr.com. Your application must:
• Include your name and contact details as well as a copy of your cv.
• Demonstrate how you fit the above criteria and why we should employ you over any other applicant
• Be in a format that can be emailed to us/that we can easily access
• Above all, your application needs to be relevant to Lexis and the skills we are looking for.

The Application Form
Candidates that have successfully ‘caught our eye’ with their application will be sent an application form, which needs to be completed and returned to us by Monday 12th March 2012.
* The Interview
Successful candidates will be invited for a first interview at the Lexis offices, sometime in March.
* Final Stage…
‘Make me your next generation!’ – The Assessment day.
If you make it this far you’ll be asked to attend an assessment day, during the Easter holidays in April. This will be a really fun, interactive and inspiring day where you’ll get to meet previous grads, more of the team and get put through your paces with ‘Apprentice’ style tasks to demonstrate your skills.
